2021 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale in Warwick
The Chevy Blazer was reincarnated for the 2019 model year, reviving a classic nameplate that emerged from the Chevy stable in 1969 and had been gone since 2005. The current iteration came back for model year 2019 with a muscle-car look inspired by the Camaro. For 2021, Chevrolet has added some new features and exterior colors for the Blazer. The Chevy Safety Assist package (see the Active Safety section for details) is now standard on all but the two lowest trim levels. A trailering package is available on front-wheel-drive versions equipped with the 3.6-liter V6 engine. Many options are available independently or as part of a package, depending on the trim, so you can outfit the Blazer to your needs and taste.
Trims and Powertrain
The 2021 Blazer comes in six trims: L, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. The standard drivetrain is front-wheel; all-wheel-drive is available on the 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. The L and 1LT have a 193-horsepower (188 pounds-feet of torque) 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine; the 2LT, 3LT, and Premier upgrade to a 227 hp (258 lb.-ft. of torque) 2.0 turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The RS gets a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 308 hp and 270 lb.-ft. of torque; this engine is also optional on the 2LT, 3LT, and Premier. All Blazers have a 9-speed automatic transmission and are equipped with automatic stop/start to optimize fuel economy.
With FWD, the EPA-estimated fuel economy on the base engine is 21 mpg city and 27 mpg highway, while the turbocharged four-cylinder achieves 22 mpg city/29 mpg highway, and the V6 gets an estimated 20 mpg city/27 mpg highway. The drive mode dial lets the driver easily switch from Tour (FWD, for highest fuel efficiency) or Sport (for a more engaging behind-the-wheel experience) to AWD, Off-Road, or Tow/Haul (when the vehicle is equipped with the available trailering package).
Standard and Available Features
The L comes with 18-inch wheels, automatic headlamps, heated power side mirrors, LED tail lamps, a tire inflator kit, dual-zone automatic climate control, an electronic locking glove box, keyless open, keyless start, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a 60/40-split folding rear seat.
The 1LT includes a spare tire and is eligible for options like 20-inch wheels and some features that aren’t typically found on a lower trim, like heated front seats, keypad entry, remote start, a programmable liftgate, and several active safety features and cargo accessories. The 2LT adds more active safety features and the trailering package. The 3LT gets a programmable liftgate and still more safety features, plus perforated leather seats (power-adjustable and heated in the front row), roof rails, and an automatic dimming rearview mirror, and auto-dimming exterior mirrors. Buyers can add trailer hitch view, HD Surround Vision, and the Sound & Technology Package (navigation, a Bose sound system, and more).
The RS stands out with its unique appearance characteristics, including black perforated leather seats with red accents and 20-inch dark aluminum wheels. It also gets yet another level of safety aids, a hands-free power liftgate, ambient interior lighting, a heated steering wheel, front USB data ports, and an auxiliary input jack with an SD card reader. This trim is eligible for LED headlamps and a rear camera washer. The Premier brings the utmost comfort and convenience with memory settings, ventilated front seats, and heated rear outboard seats. It also gets trim-specific 20-inch wheels (or optional 21-inch wheels) and perforated leather seats in black/Maple Sugar.
