New Chevrolet 2022 Chevrolet Trax for Sale in Warwick
The Chevrolet Trax compact crossover continues with its tradition of sporty and efficient transportation at an affordable price point. A major bonus for the 2022 model year is an upgraded engine that makes more horsepower and torque than its predecessor. Chevy also offers more appearance options so you can outfit your Trax just the way you want it. Although it may look small from the outside, there’s surprising space inside for up to five occupants.
Trims and Powertrain
The 2022 Trax is made in a pair of trims: the LS and LT. Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine making 155 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft. of torque. A six-speed automatic is the sole transmission on offer. Front-wheel drive (FWD) comes standard, but all-wheel drive (AWD) is available with either trim. The official EPA-estimated fuel economy for the FWD Trax is 24 mpg in city driving and 32 mpg on the highway; those numbers change a tad to 23 city/30 highway for the AWD Trax.
Standard Features and Packages
The Trax LS gets 16-inch painted aluminum wheels, single-zone air conditioning, fabric seats, a 3.5-inch driver information display, a manual tilt and telescoping steering column, and a 60/40-split-folding rear seat. The LT gets some additional standard features: remote start, projector-style halogen headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, deep-tinted rear door and tailgate glass, front and rear skid plates, roof rails, heated sideview mirrors, combination cloth and leatherette seating, a cargo shelf, front passenger underseat storage, and cruise control.
The Trax LT can be ordered with several option groups including the Convenience Package (keyless entry and ignition, a six-way power driver’s seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel) and the Premium Seat Package (heated front seats and leatherette upholstery). In addition, the LT is available with appearance upgrade packages. The Midnight Edition starts with an exclusive Mosaic Black Metallic exterior and also includes 18-inch gloss black wheels and black exterior accents. The Redline Package adds 18-inch alloy wheels finished in black with red accents, plus black exterior accents and black and red badging. The available Driver Confidence Package, which can be added to the Trax LT, contains side blind-zone assist, rear park assist, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Ground-Breaking Safety and Technology
Both Trax trims get an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system, Wi-Fi hotspot access, a pair of USB ports, smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), SiriusXM satellite radio, and GM’s OnStar telematics. The LT also receives a 120-volt power outlet.
