Trims and Powertrain

Those in the market for a 2024 Corvette Stingray have three trim options—1LT, 2LT, and 3LT—and two body styles: a coupe with a removable roof and a folding-hardtop convertible. Their power comes from a 6.2-liter V8, which puts out 490 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque. The addition of the Z71 Performance Package option will increase output by 5 horsepower and 5 lb.-ft. of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission controls the rear-wheel drivetrain. The EPA estimates the Stingray’s fuel economy at 16 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.

Standard Equipment

Brembo brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential, variable assist speed-sensitive steering, and a six-mode drive selector underscore the performance credentials of the base trim, the 1LT. Its other noteworthy standard features include proximity keyless entry, remote start, push-button start, leather upholstery with perforated inserts, eight-way power sport seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED exterior lighting with automatic headlights, a 12-inch configurable gauge cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power tilt-and-telescopic column, USB ports, a digital rearview mirror, an engine hatch with a power pull-down function, and heated power side mirrors. It has staggered five-spoke aluminum wheels that measure 19 inches by 8.5 inches in the front and 20 inches by 11 inches in the back.

The 2LT is upgraded with heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, memory settings and additional power adjustments for the front seats, a head-up display, a performance data recorder, upgraded side mirrors (with power-folding and driver-side auto-dimming features, and wireless device charging. The 3LT starts with the 2LT-level equipment and adds GT2 sport seats with Nappa leather upholstery, leather-wrapped interior surfaces (upper instrument panel, console, and door panels), and microfiber-covered areas, including the headliner and sun visors. The most popular option for the Corvette Stingray is the Z51 Performance Package. It’s available on all three trims and will upgrade them with an enhanced suspension, exhaust, cooling system, final drive ratio, and differential as well as performance brakes and tires.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

Every 2024 Corvette Stingray has several driver-assistance technologies installed. The standard list consists of forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking (with front pedestrian and bicyclist braking), lane keep assist with lane departure warning, a following distance indicator, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams. The 2LT and 3LT also get blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a front-view parking camera. All Stingrays also have a set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability control, and a rearview camera (with curb monitoring for the 2LT and 3LT).

Infotainment and Connectivity

Center stage in the ’24 Chevy Corvette Stingray’s cabin is an 8-inch touchscreen for command of the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system. Its supporting technologies include a ten-speaker Bose sound system, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Navigation and a 14-speaker Bose arrangement are standard in the 2LT and 3LT. All trims come with access to a Wi-Fi hotspot and OnStar/Chevrolet connected services (for emergency support, vehicle monitoring, and other features).
