The E-Ray lineup consists of three trims: 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ, each available as a coupe with a removable roof panel or a hardtop convertible. Power comes from a mid-mounted LT2 6.2-liter V8 generating 495 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. The hybrid system adds a front-axle electric motor contributing 160 horsepower and 125 lb.-ft. of torque, bringing the combined output to 655 ponies. An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission manages power distribution through the all-wheel-drive system. The EPA’s official fuel economy ratings stand at 16 mpg city and 24 mpg highway, with a maximum range of 352 miles. Meanwhile, a cargo area of 12.5 cubic feet provides practical day-to-day storage.
Performance features anchor the E-Ray’s standard equipment list, starting with magnetic ride control and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes. The track-ready hardware continues with a performance exhaust system and active handling stability control. The capable 1LZ combines performance with comfort, featuring a body-color removable roof panel or power-retractable convertible hardtop, eight-way power GT1 bucket seats trimmed in Mulan leather, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column. The technology slate includes a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, a head-up display, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, remote start capabilities, and heated power side mirrors. The chassis rides on staggered-width forged aluminum wheels (20-inch front, 21-inch rear) fitted with Michelin Pilot all-season run-flat tires.
The 2LZ brings additional refinements, including heated and ventilated seats with enhanced lumbar and bolster adjustments, a heated steering wheel, driver and passenger memory settings, and a performance data and video recorder. This trim also adds wireless device charging and upgraded side mirrors with integrated turn signals and a power-folding feature. The range-topping 3LZ elevates the interior with GT2 bucket seats featuring Nappa leather and carbon-fiber trim, plus leather wrapping for the upper instrument panel, door trim panels, and console cover, along with sueded microfiber accents and a steering wheel finished in carbon-fiber and leather.
The E-Ray includes comprehensive driver-assistance features, with three trims getting forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking with front pedestrian and bicyclist detection, lane-keeping assist with departure warning, a following distance indicator, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera. The 2LZ and 3LZ add blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and a front-view camera. The other safety equipment consists of multiple airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, and traction control.
Chevrolet’s Infotainment 3 Premium system operates via an 8-inch touchscreen. The platform features integrated navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. All trims have Bose audio, with the 1LZ getting 10 speakers while the 2LZ and 3LZ trims get 14 . All trims are enabled with subscription-access Wi-Fi hotspot capability and access to OnStar services for emergency help and vehicle monitoring functions.
