Chevrolet offers the rear-wheel-drive 2025 Corvette Z06 in three trims – 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ – and two body styles, hardtop and convertible. Its power comes from a hand-built 5.5-liter flat-plane crankshaft V8 that makes 670 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. The powertrain is managed by an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. All three trims have been determined by the EPA to return 12 mpg in city driving and 21 mpg on the highway.
Depending on the body style, the 1LZ trim gets either a retractable hard top (convertible) or body-color roof panel (coupe). Its other prominent attributes are GT1 bucket seats with eight-way power controls, LED headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, remote start, a rear camera mirror, a head-up display, a 12-inch driver information display, proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, heated power side mirrors with integrated turn indicators, a rear spoiler, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, two USB ports, and forged aluminum wheels (20-inch front, 21-inch rear).
The upgrades for the 2LZ include heated and ventilated GT1 bucket seats, a heated steering wheel, position memory for both passengers, power seatback bolsters, power lumbar controls for the driver, a performance data and video recorder, power-folding side mirrors, enhanced security sensors, and wireless device charging. As the ultimate Z06, the 3LZ adds premium touches like GT2 bucket seats, perforated Nappa leather upholstery, additional leather and microfiber cabin treatments, and a carbon-fiber accented steering wheel wrapped in leather.
The 2025 Corvette Z06 is equipped with numerous driver-assist technologies, including forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian and bicyclist detection, lane-keeping assist with lane departure warning, a following distance indicator, rear parking sensors, Teen Driver, a rearview monitor, and automatic high beams. The 2LZ and 3LZ also get blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a front-view monitor. A full set of airbags comes standard, along with anti-lock brakes, stability control, and traction control.
The Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Premium system is front and center in the Z06. Its 8-inch touchscreen provides ready access to Google built-in (including Google Maps and Google Assistant), wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Access to OnStar services and a Wi-Fi hotspot comes standard. All three trims have a Bose sound system; the 1LZ has ten speakers while the higher two get fourteen.
