In the way of modern conveniences, it gets wireless device charging, automatic climate control, heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, keyless entry, and keyless ignition. This trim’s other considerable amenities include LED headlights and daytime running lights, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, Regen on Demand paddle shifters, an 8-inch driver information center, two charging-only USB ports (one Type-A and the other Type-C), and a 12V power outlet. Two luxury-enhancing upgrade packages are offered. The Comfort Package has heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, and a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, while the Convenience Package contains Jet Black/Nightshift Blue leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Although the LT is provided with a few advanced safety features, like lane keep assist and lane departure warning, it’s eligible for more via the Driver Confidence Package, which will issue rear parking sensors (Rear Park Assist), rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change alert with side blind-zone alert. GM’s Teen Driver system comes standard to let parents and guardians monitor their young driver’s behind-the-wheel habits. For staying connected, the LT gets the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus system, which can be controlled using its 10.2-inch HD touchscreen or voice recognition. Its noteworthy features are Bluetooth for hands-free phone and audio streaming, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and six-speaker sound system.
The Premier gets as standard equipment the contents of the LT’s three packages (minus the Jet Black/Nightshift Blue leather upholstery and auto-dimming rearview mirror). On top of those amenities, it gets chrome exterior accents, perforated leather upholstery, and heated rear seats. The Premier is given additional standard driving aids as well, including adaptive cruise control and an HD surround-view camera. As for options, the Sun and Sounds Package will deliver a premium 7-speaker Bose audio system, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and integrated navigation. And if you’re ready to let hands-free driving technology take the reins, GM’s innovative Super Cruise Package is optional. It works on compatible divided roadways in the U.S. and Canada (a subscription is required, but Chevrolet provides a three-year trial).
