2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV for Sale in Warwick

When you hear the word electric, what sort of imagery comes to mind? Maybe it’s something sharp and quick, like a bolt of lightning. Well, that’s exactly what you get style-wise from the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV (Electric Utility Vehicle). This roomier and more rugged take on the award-winning Chevy Bolt has arrived on the EV scene with its 247-mile all-electric driving range and an ample supply of tech that includes a new Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance system. Plus, with no more trips to the gas station or visits to the service center for oil changes, the ’22 Bolt EUV will save you considerable cash over the long haul.

The Bolt EUV shares the same architecture as the regular Bolt EV, but its look is entirely its own, building upon the dashing design themes customary among Chevy SUVs. At the same time, the Bolt EUV adds a few unique touches, like sharper proportions, a more tech-focused interior, and a greater supply of upscale materials. The ’22 Bolt EUV’s distinct look is exemplified by its muscular edge, exclusive front-end sculpted grille, and special lighting signature that includes standard LED headlights and Chevy’s brand-specific high-eye daytime running lights. The Bolt EUV also shows off a center crease line that cuts directly through the front fascia to the hood.

Trims, Power Source, and Charging

Chevy offers the ’22 Bolt EUV in two trim levels: LT and Premier. Both are front-wheel drive and supplied with an electric motor that whisks 200 hp and 266 lb.-ft. of torque. When it comes to charging, the ’22 Bolt EUV has a cord with changeable attachment plugs for either 120-volt (Level 1) charging or 240-volt (Level 2) charging. With Level 1 charging, the ’22 Bolt EUV can gain four miles of range per hour, and with Level 2 charging, that number increases to 25 miles per hour. When plugged into a DC fast charger, the battery will add 95 miles of range in 30 minutes. On a full charge, the ’22 Bolt EUV can travel up to 247 miles.

The Bolt EUV also has the One Pedal Driving and Regen on Demand systems, which increase the vehicle’s regenerative braking effect to help capture kinetic energy that would otherwise be wasted. What’s more, the available Chevrolet EV Access Package lets drivers remotely view their real-time charging status and battery level, customize their charge settings, and set up charge notifications through the myChevrolet Mobile App. The myChevrolet Mobile App’s Energy feature can help you plan trips by tracking down charging stations and initiating charge sessions through participating charging networks.

Standard Equipment

The base LT comes with LED headlights and daytime running lights, roof rails, heated side mirrors with turn signal indicators, keyless entry, a wireless phone charger, a flat-bottom steering wheel, Chevy’s Regen on Demand paddle shifters, and an 8-inch driver information center. It also has push-button start, remote start, automatic climate control, a Sport drive mode selector, two USB charging ports (one Type-A and the other Type-C), a 12-volt power outlet, a 60/40-split fold-down rear seatback, and a rear cargo cover and a false cargo floor. The Premier gains chrome exterior accents, a power driver’s seat, perforated leather seat trim, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heated rear seats.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Both trims have the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus setup, which consists of a 10.2-inch HD touchscreen, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker sound system.

Advanced Safety Systems

Chevy places a premium on safety with the ’22 Bolt EUV. In addition to its array of airbags, the LT gets lane keep assist with lane departure warning and a pedestrian safety signal. The Premier receives a surround-view camera system, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, lane change alert with side blind-zone alert, a rear seat reminder, and adaptive cruise control. Both trims also have Teen Driver, a novel feature that can limit certain vehicle functions and provide an in-vehicle report card that shows information on your young driver’s habits behind the wheel.

Chevrolet offers several optional packages of note for the Bolt EUV. The LT is eligible for three: Driver Confidence, Comfort, and Convenience. The Driver Confidence Package bundles rear park assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change alert with side blind-zone alert. The Comfort Package will add some plush amenities: a power driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Convenience Package will deliver black and dark blue leather seats, ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a front passenger seatback pocket, a rear center armrest with two cup holders, and dark wheels with silver inserts.

The Premier qualifies for two packages: Super Cruise and Sun and Sound. The Super Cruise Package issues GM’s industry-first Super Cruise hands-free driving system, which can be used on more than 200,000 miles of enabled roads in the U.S. and Canada. It unites several advanced technology features, such as a Driver Attention System and LiDAR mapping. The Sun and Sound Package provides a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, navigation, and a premium Bose sound system with seven speakers.
