2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV

2026 Chevrolet
Blazer EV

Chevrolet has streamlined the lineup for the strong-selling Blazer EV for 2026, dropping the rear-wheel-drive version of the RS. The model retains a compelling mix of capability and performance and offers up to 312 miles of range. If it’s speed you’re interested in, note that the higher-performance SS can reach 60 mph from a standstill in 3.4 seconds. Simply put, the Blazer EV is a sports car disguised as a family-oriented, two-row crossover. This all-electric utility continues to distinguish itself with attractive styling, a generously sized cabin, and a modern dual-screen dashboard.

Trims and Powertrain

The trim trio for the 2026 Blazer EV consists of the LT, RS, and SS. The LT and RS get standard front-wheel drive (FWD), while all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional for those trims and standard for the SS. With FWD, the Blazer EV comes with a single motor and an 85 kWh battery to yield 220 horsepower and an estimated range of 312 miles. In the AWD configuration, the LT and RS move to a dual-motor setup, increasing output to 300 hp with a range of 283 miles. The dual-motor, AWD-only SS uses a 102 kWh battery, making up to 615 horsepower in Wide Open Watts mode. This version provides up to 302 miles of range.

DC fast charging supports peak rates of 150 kW for the smaller battery and 190 kW for the larger pack, translating to 68–87 miles of range added in about 10 minutes, depending on the trim and drivetrain. Level 2 charging provides 20–35 miles of range per hour. The Blazer EV in LT or RS trim can tow up to 1,500 pounds; towing isn’t recommended for the SS. Cargo capacity starts at 25.8 cubic feet behind the back seats, expanding to 59.1 cubic feet behind the first row. Storage space grows slightly for Blazer EVs with a sunroof.

Standard Features by Trim

TThe base LT has remote start, single-zone automatic climate control, fabric upholstery, automatic LED headlights, proximity keyless entry, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, and an 11-inch driver display. It also includes sound-reducing windshield glass, rear privacy glass, a rear console with air vents, power side mirrors, front and rear intermittent wipers, six USB ports (including two for the rear seats), and 19-inch aluminum wheels.

Buyers stepping into the RS receive a longer list of features, starting with perforated suede and Evotex leatherette upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless device charging, and a heated flat-bottomed steering wheel. Its other standard equipment includes a hands-free tailgate, an eight-way power driver’s seat, a six-way power passenger seat, a driver’s memory system, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated power-folding mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, animated LED lighting that responds to activities like charging or locking, ambient interior lighting, and 21-inch aluminum wheels. The available RS Convenience and Driver Confidence Package will add heated rear outboard seats, a head-up display, a rear camera washer, and a heated wiper park.

Outfitted similarly to the RS with the Convenience and Driver Confidence package, the SS is also upgraded with a performance-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes, unique exterior details, and 22-inch aluminum wheels. A dual-pane power sunroof is available on every trim.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

The standard Chevy Safety Assist bundles forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian and bicyclist braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, a following distance indicator, and automatic high beams. Every Blazer EV is also equipped with blind-spot steering assist, intersection automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view monitor, rear cross-traffic braking, reverse automatic braking, rear pedestrian alert, rear parking sensors, and GM’s Safety Alert Seat. Super Cruise hands-free highway driving is available on the LT and RS and included on the SS. Every trim has a set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and a backup monitor.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The Blazer EV’s tech-focused nature is reinforced by a 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen that’s standard on all trims. The system has Google built-in with access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and other apps. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and access to OnStar services are also included. The LT and RS are equipped with a six-speaker sound system, while the SS supplies superior sound via an eight-speaker Bose upgrade.
