Chevrolet is bringing back the Corvette Grand Sport for 2027, reviving one of the nameplate's most recognizable performance badges. The Grand Sport name was first used in the early 1960s for a limited run of race cars. Chevrolet began using the moniker again for production Corvettes that blended everyday drivability with performance hardware borrowed from higher-performance models. This latest Grand Sport follows that tradition, pairing an all-new 6.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 with wider bodywork, standard Magnetic Ride Control, and a choice of coupe or hardtop convertible body styles. With the Corvette E-Ray discontinued, Chevy will add the all-wheel-drive Corvette Grand Sport X, which will coax 721 hp from its gas-electric powertrain.
