Improved charging technology makes the Equinox EV even better for model year 2026, with a now-standard dual-level charging cord that supports both 120-volt Level 1 and 240-volt Level 2 charging. Plus, the top-of-the-line RS has been given a range of styling updates, starting with a two-tone exterior (black roof with contrasting body color), and a slightly revised paint palette that swaps Iridescent Pearl Tricoat for Polar White Tricoat. The cabin gets a refresh, too, with a black-focused interior complemented by Adrenaline Red trim. Chevy has also expanded the selection of optional packages for the ‘26 Equinox EV. That list now includes the Tech Bronze Package, which pairs black-and-bronze exterior badging with 21-inch Tech Bronze wheels on all trims, as well as the Midnight Package, which outfits the LT 1 with black exterior accents and black wheels. On the mechanical side, an upgraded 19.2-kW onboard charging module is now available on the RS, in place of the standard 11.5-kW unit.
